Privacy Policy
Iro Battle is a browser game run by an individual, who operates under the name Kapi Kobo. This page explains what information the game and the Kapi Kobo page handle, and how it is used.
Information we collect
- The name you show in the world ranking, together with your records, such as your number of wins, your starting color and the color you ended with. Other players can see your name.
- The region (country) shown in the ranking. The flag of the country you choose appears next to your name. We suggest the country detected from your connection, and you can also choose none.
- An ID that links your name to your records. This ID is also stored in your browser.
- How the game is played: when the page is opened, when a run starts, how many wins a run ended with, when a share button is pressed, and which site linked you here (the site name only). These are recorded together with a random ID created for each device.
- Network information. To prevent mass registrations from one connection, we store a value derived from your IP address that cannot be turned back into it. We do not store the IP address itself.
- Web analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and actions such as starting and ending a run or sharing. It uses cookies, and information such as your device and browser type and approximate region is sent to Google. For visitors from the EU, the UK and Switzerland, cookies are used only if you allow them.
- Screen activity. We use Microsoft Clarity to record taps, scrolling and how the screen changes, so we can find the parts of the game that are hard to play. Text you type and the names shown in the ranking are not recorded. For visitors from the EU, the UK and Switzerland, cookies are used only if you allow them.
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number or any location more detailed than your country.
How we use it

What is stored on your device
Your settings, best record, collection, an unfinished run and your ranking ID are stored in your browser. They are deleted when you clear your browser data. If your ranking ID is deleted, your earlier records will no longer be linked to a new name.
Outside services we use
- Cloudflare, for delivering the pages and storing records.
- Google Analytics, for counting how the game is played. How Google handles this data is explained in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity, for finding the parts of the game that are hard to play. How Microsoft handles this data is explained in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Google Fonts, for showing text and emoji. The fonts are loaded from Google's servers, so information such as your IP address is sent to Google.
Sharing with others
We do not give the information we collect to other people or companies, except where required by law. For web analytics, however, the information described above is sent to Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. We do not use it for advertising.
Deleting your records
If you would like your ranking name and records deleted, please contact us using the link below. Tell us the name shown in the ranking, and we will delete it after checking.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, we will announce it on this page.
